Designed for supervisors and leaders who are responsible for implementing improvement changes in your organization, the Definity Partners Bronze-Silver-Gold Medal Leadership Series grooms your people into confident, effective, and motivated leaders. The series includes three one-day sessions conducted over a three-month period, during which attendees concentrate on three core competency areas: leadership, communication, and change management. Beginning with the Bronze session, your leaders will learn techniques they can immediately apply to your unique business situation. Participants who complete all three sessions will earn 2.1 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

A supervisor is successful when employees are successful. During the Coaching Supervision Series, supervisors, team leaders, managers, and others with direct reports learn how to become ‘coaching supervisors’—or supervisors that build positive relationships and motivate employees to achieve their potential, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
The series begins with a three-day boot camp where participants are trained in the art of coaching supervision and taught skills and techniques that can be applied in their own organizations. To build on and reinforce the training, participants will meet for two hours once a month for six months to review coaching tools, examine case scenarios, and address supervisors’ real-life challenges.
COACHING SUPERVISION EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW
Executives who oversee supervisors and managers who are actively participating in the Coaching Supervision Series may attend a one-day Executive Overview Session. This session provides a snapshot of coaching supervision concepts and trains executives on how to support the participants in the course.
PROBLEM SOLVING FRAMEWORK
Solving problems is the key to implementing changes and improving processes throughout your organization. Developing problem-solving skills at every level of an organization is key to improving your organization in the "Improve" stage of Run Improve Grow®.
Problem solving includes getting to the root causes of existing problems in the business (reactive improvement), as well as systematically closing gaps between current performance levels and goals that challenge the status quo (proactive improvement). We have created three targeted levels of problem solving training that will equip every member of your organization.
FAST Problem Solving:
Developed with the frontline employee in mind, FAST Problem Solving introduces participants to a simple, effective problem solving method. The 75-minute interactive, hands-on course engages frontline employees in a problem solving methodology that is "FAST, but not reckless." Through a fun and engaging activity, participants are introduced to the reason most problem solving efforts fail. They are then challenged with a simple four-step approach to our time-tested methodology of "Trystorming." With these skills, frontline employees will be equipped to solve the everyday problems that occur in their work areas, empowering them to "simplify the RUN" and take ownership of the results.
A3 Problem Solving:
Developed for every level of leadership, A3 Problem Solving provides a concise, systematic problem solving approach for the cross-functional issues that plague most businesses. This 3.5 hour course introduces participants to the famous A3 methodology pioneered by Toyota, utilizing an A3 problem solving form that is unique to our problem solving framework. Beginning with an introduction to the PDCA and DMAIC fundamentals, the course walks through all of the various progressive tools of the A3 form and then concludes with an interactive case study that will challenge students to apply what they've learned. Leaders will be equipped with the skills they need to lead cross-functional problem solving teams to successfully fix difficult business issues, and keep them fixed for the long term.
Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt:
Six Sigma training provides classroom and hands-on training in all the necessary tools for improvement champions to solve the most difficult business issues.
The 4.5 day Six Sigma Yellow Belt training gives a thorough review of all the non-statistical improvement tools, as well as introductions to basic statistics, measurement system analysis, and statistical process control.
The second week includes the Six Sigma Green Belt training (with Yellow Belt as a prerequisite) and focuses on advanced statistical tools, such as hypothesis testing, process capability analysis, analysis of variance, and design of experiments.
Improvement champions will finish these courses equipped to lead improvement efforts focused on your company's most complex and difficult challenges. These courses cover every component of the International Association of Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) body of knowledge.
